Niš media and film experts emphasize the valuable contribution of this film to Croatian documentary filmmaking.
Nakon što je premijerno prikazan u srpnju na Cinehill festivalu u Fužinama (svjetska premijera), dokumentarni film diplomantice Sveučilišta VERN’ Vide Žagar „Najbolji profesor filma na svijetu“ nastavlja turneju po relevantnim filmskim festivalima, trenutno na završenom 23. Liburnia Film Festivalu.
Interes stručne, ali i opće javnosti dodatno je potaknula nagrada fužinske publike za drugi najbolji film na festivalu (samo 0,01 bod za „Mirotvorcem“ Ivana Ramljaka), nakon čega se Vida našla u središtu medijske pozornosti i prometnula u jednu od svojevrsnih protagonistica hrvatske dokumentarističke scene.
As she stated in an interview with Nacional, in the future she wants to develop professionally in "film and television production, with occasional directing, primarily of auteur documentaries with personal expression."
The audience award and public interest are even more significant, if we take into account that Vidi ovo is a debut feature film and a graduation thesis for the study of Film and Television Direction and Production . The film was created under the mentorship of the lecturer at the studio, director Nebojša Slijepčević , and the production team included: Patrik Pažur (director of photography), Matija Benić (editor), Anton Weisz (sound engineer), Arian Peharda (composer) and Dino Divković (sound designer).
Given that after the premiere, many authors, critics and reviewers emphasized that the film provided a valuable contribution to Croatian documentary filmmaking, we believe that it has more festival appearances ahead.
