A group of foreign Erasmus students studying the summer semester at VERN' University and domestic students from VERN's studies recently had the opportunity to learn about the challenges of leadership in modern business environments.

As part of the Leadership Theory in Practice course and the Leadership course, prof. Dan Ebener from the University of St. Ambrose from the United States of America, who gave a lecture for our colleagues entitled "Traits, Behaviors and Skills for Leadership" .

The basic premise of the lecture was to guide students in developing key traits and skills needed by today's leaders and to introduce them to the characteristics and competencies that leaders must possess in order to successfully manage organizations in conditions of accelerated and often unpredictable change. In this context, it is particularly important to develop adaptability, emotional intelligence, and communication skills in complex situations.

The interactivity of the entire lecture was further enhanced by the active engagement of students in discussion and exchange of opinions, and Prof. Ebener, as a recognized expert in the field of leadership and author of several books, provided them with valuable insights and practical guidelines for developing leadership skills.
