Memberships

Through its membership in renowned international social, academic and economic bodies, VERN' University makes an academic contribution to the dialogue on important global topics and trends.

1. International Association of Universities (IAU)

VERN' University has been a member of the IAU (International Association of Universities) since July 2018. This prestigious International Association of Universities was founded in 1950 under the auspices of UNESCO and is today the leading global association of higher education institutions and organizations from all over the world. It brings together members from more than 130 countries, in activities of planning, analysis and realization of common goals.

It acts as the voice of higher education at UNESCO (official partner) and other international higher education organizations and provides a global platform for leaders of institutions and associations.

2. UN Global Compact

VERN' University is a member of the UN Global Compact (a United Nations initiative for corporate social responsibility). Find out more details here .

3. United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) ,

VERN' University is a member of the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) organization , and the only Croatian higher education representative in this initiative. Membership began in January 2020, and this initiative brings together more than 1,300 members from more than 130 countries, including students, scientists, universities and research centers. The purpose of this initiative is to support the goals of the United Nations, especially in the areas of human rights, education, sustainable development and conflict resolution. Membership in UNAI is available to all accredited higher education institutions, and VERN' University received an invitation to join thanks to successful projects that promote sustainability and are aligned with the UNAI principles.
