At the 70th anniversary of Pula, films by students of the Film and Television Directing and Production graduate program, Dina Uglešić and Antoni David Perina, will be screened.
VERN' University has its representatives in Pula again this year, in the student program of the jubilee 70th Pula Film Festival, which will be held from July 15th to 23rd, with a rich accompanying program, at several locations from the Arena, through the Istrian National Theater, the Valli Cinema, to Ambrela and Brijuni.
This will not be the first time for our student Dina Uglešić to screen in Pula, as she was there two years ago with her animated short film Baloon . This time, Dina is going to the festival with the short crime drama "Pater familias", which tells the story of an escaped prisoner who accidentally enters the life of a teenager dealing with the recent loss of his mother.
Our student Antonio David Perina is also presenting his drama in Pula, whose short feature film "I'm the Same to You" tells the story of a marriage between two people that is about to fall apart. Faced with a difficult situation and an emotional crisis, the husband decides to seek comfort in a third person, not knowing that his wife is doing the same thing - going through her own third person.
