"If you asked ChatGPT a question about some mainstream topics, the answer will be correct, but if you ask a question about lesser-known things..."

How to implement the use of artificial intelligence in teaching processes, whether at colleges or in schools? Should students unreservedly use the benefits of ChatGPT and thus produce their academic works?
These were just some of the questions discussed at the panel discussion "Generative artificial intelligence in schools and education: learning or copy-paste?" which was also attended by the head of VERN's undergraduate study Internet of Things (IOT), Assoc. Ph.D. Petar Kolar .
He discussed the topic with Josip Borić-Novosel , consultant and team leadership trainer, Dr. Jakob Patekar , vice dean for science and general education at RIT Croatia, and Marina Trošelj , executive director of STEMI, and the discussion was moderated by digital communications and branding consultant Tomislav Pancirov .
The panelists concluded that although artificial intelligence simplifies our operational tasks, we should not rely on it completely, but rather use it in education exactly as it was originally intended, as an aid – from an institutional perspective, but especially from a personal perspective. Otherwise, the individual is at a loss in the long run.

Petar Kolar.
The discussion was held as part of the rich program of this year's Game Changer conference, and the main topics of the discussions and pitches in the five halls of Cinestar's Z Center in Zagreb could be summarized as: startup, artificial intelligence, coexistence of technology and people.
