Nino Mlinac , MBA, expert and consultant for sales and services at the Nokia company, was a guest in the course of the Strategic Management course at VERN's graduate study in Accounting and Finance .
In his lecture on the topic "Determining the most appropriate value curve for achieving profitable growth using the example of the telecommunications services industry in European markets" , he introduced our students to strategic management methodologies and their practical applications in more detail, using the example of his research work in the telecommunications equipment and services industry.
The lecturer based his research work on a modern approach to profitable growth strategies from the relevant "practitioner" literature ( blue ocean strategy ), and was published in 2013 for one of the leading companies in the industry at that time, Nokia Siemens Networks.

The research involved telecom operators from Southeast European countries as buyers, and the goal was to determine the most appropriate value curve for achieving revenue growth in the context of the company's strategic direction and macroeconomic trends at the time. The findings, based on the results of statistical processing of the collected data, offered guidelines for redefining the company's global strategy, in order to create conditions for profitable growth.
