The startup project of our student Dora Maroš from the graduate program in Sustainable Tourism Development Management has been selected for the seventh generation of the Startup Factory acceleration program of the Zagreb Innovation Center (ZICER).
"Just H2O" is a project aimed at improving the health of citizens, and it is a water purification filter made from completely natural materials and would be installed in a tank with a tap, with a capacity of about six liters.
"The tank itself would be specially designed and would prevent the development of microorganisms, since the water in it would constantly circulate and would not settle anywhere. The filter would purify the water on a chemical, mechanical and biological level," explained Dora. Interestingly, this project is also the backbone of her graduation thesis with her mentor , M.Sc. Gordana Ćorić .
Since the entire project is still in the conceptual phase, our colleague is now undergoing an intensive acceleration period during which she will develop her idea and entrepreneurial competencies with the support of domestic and foreign experts.
The goal is to develop the entire project by mid-November, when the best teams will compete in the Startup Factory finals for a grant from the City of Zagreb in the amount of 800,000 kuna.
We wish Dori much happiness and success!
