VERN's "film" students learned about the production process of HRT programs

VERN's "film" students in the HRT studio

What does the direction for broadcasting a live program on national television look like? How is the scene, lighting and tone set?

Our film students learned the answers to these and other questions at Croatian Radio and Television (HRT), which they visited as part of their fieldwork for the Television Recording course.

Accompanied by professor Radoslav Pažameta and teaching assistant Petr Vučetić , students of the 1st year of VERN's undergraduate study of Film, TV and Multimedia Design got to know in detail the entire technical process of program production.

At HRT, they were hosted by Kristinka Knežević Wozdecky from the HRT Academy, Srećko Kunić , head of the Production Equipment Maintenance Department, and Boris Kotarski , head of the Technical Department in TV centers. They took them through several studios, then classical, sound and technical direction for broadcasting live programs, showed them the setting of the stage, lighting and sound, the radio-multimedia studio and the most modern reporting car.
