The field class was attended by undergraduate students of the Internet of Things and graduate students taking the elective course Management of Innovations and Technological Changes.

VERN's undergraduate students from the Internet of Things study program and a group of graduate students from the elective course Management of Innovation and Technological Change visited the Zagreb Innovation Center ZICER at the end of last month, where they toured ZICER's "IoT Lab" and participated in the networking event "Business over Breakfast".
Our students are accompanied by professor M.Sc. sc. Gordane Ćorić gained an insight into the possibilities that ZICER's lab offers its users, from the possibility of working with built-in elements, sensors, a modified 3D printer, all the way to the creation of prototypes.

At the themed event "Business over Breakfast", which was also a great opportunity for networking, they got to know the work of the venture capital fund Silicon Gardens, which was presented to them by Tom Vodopivec , and after that they also attended the pitch of two startups that are looking for financing from this fund - Play Tracker and Hal42.

During this visit, students learned more about the process of financing start-ups and saw how important cooperation with incubators and accelerators is for quality growth and development.
