Students viewed numerous covers that immortalized some of the most significant moments in our history.
VERN's undergraduate students of Journalism, together with lecturer Zlatko Herljević , visited the exhibition marking the 60th anniversary of Večernji list, and the visit was organized as part of fieldwork for the courses Complex Journalistic Forms and Reporting Skills .
During the visit, the lecturer recalled his journalistic career at Večernji list, where he worked until 1994, and thus the students learned firsthand how newspapers were created at that time, how much the work of journalists differed from today, and how journalism developed in Croatia.
The development of journalism, but also of Croatian society, was reflected in the covers themselves, which depicted some of the most important events for our society, such as winning the bronze medal at the World Cup in France, the tragic death of Dražen Petrović, etc.
