Participants gained knowledge and skills about modern front-end programming techniques.

In June, a professional educational program in the business and personal development segment "Front-end development - beginner level" was held at VERN, where participants trained for further professional or personal development in the field of web development.
During 52 hours of project-based teaching, they acquired knowledge and skills about modern front-end programming techniques using the Javascript language and the React library, in the following segments:
- basics of the Javascript language and its application in web applications,
- programming idioms of modern javascript - classes, lambda functions and others,
- single page application,
- introduction to React and creation of the first application,
- application components and states,
- events and two-way communication,
- communications with the back-end,
- basis of testing.
„Predavač na programu je vrlo dobro upoznat s tehnologijom koju predaje, nastava je konstruktivno iskorištena, a svidjelo mi se što smo radili na pravim primjerima, s manje teorije i puno praktičnog rada“, komentirao je jedan polaznik.
At the end of the program, the participants were given a final project assignment that they will solve during the summer, and on which they will be able to apply the acquired knowledge. Upon successful defense of the final thesis, they will receive VERN's certificate for the completed professional program.
