This is a summary of an exciting basketball Sunday in which our basketball teams were on the verge of historic, or repeated, success, depending on whose perspective you look at it.
Our girls were the first to take the field, and in the championship final they played a great game against the students of the Faculty of Economics, and deservedly lifted the trophy after a score of 51:43 . It should be noted that the award for MVP and best scorer of the championship was won by our Katarina Maloča Mrčela .

On the other hand, our boys defended last year's championship title at the University Championship of the City of Zagreb, and this is their fourth championship title from this competition.
In the final match, the VERN team played a very dynamic and uncertain match against the team from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, and in the end deservedly won 78:67 . Our Filip Kordić was declared the best scorer of the championship, while the MVP title went to Marko Baković , also from VERN.
