Ognjan is at the head of crowdfunding and investments for startups in Central and Eastern Europe
Our VERN' member, Ognjan Despot, has been appointed Head of Financing and Investment Collection for Central and Eastern Europe on the Funderbeam SEE platform.
Funderbeam is a global crowdfunding platform developed in Estonia and based on blockchain, and in Croatia the platform operates with the support of the Zagreb Stock Exchange. Although originally intended for financing startups, in our area it has been further adapted to financing small and medium-sized enterprises.
A well-known domestic example of a startup that sought investment for further development through Funderbeam is Ivan Mrvoš's "smart bench", or Include.
Appointing Ognjan to the head of the Central and Eastern European investment network of this company is a great achievement. And Ognjan's previous experience is confirmed by the enviable managerial and management skills he acquired working in the automotive industry, real estate trading, consumer goods (FMCG) and other sectors.
