Sara won the award at the 7th International Film Festival of Female Creators.
Kratkometražni igrani film „Šutim“ („Keep it quiet“) VERN’ove diplomantice Sare Horvatić osvojio je nagradu za najboljih strani kratkometražni igrani film na 7. Međunarodnom filmskom festivalu ženskih stvaralaca u turskom Izmiru.
Interestingly, this film was actually Sara's graduation project in production and direction at VERN's graduate school, for which she also wrote the script, and since she had developed a strategic approach to distribution in her graduation project, she had submitted the film to certain festivals where it thematically fit in. And then came the news that the film had made it to the finals in Izmir.
„Nekako sam uspjela posložiti sve projekte na kojima trenutno radim i otići na festival između snimanja jer uvijek je lijepo vidjeti svoj film na velikom platnu. I ovom prilikom zahvaljujem kolegama iz Mogla na podršci. U mojoj kategoriji, „SHORT FILMS” INTERNACIONAL FINALISTS, bilo je ukupno 11 filmova i mogu slobodno reći da je konkurencija bila itekako zanimljiva i kvalitetna jer su u istoj konkurenciji bili i profesionalni kratkometražni filmovi američkih, kanadskih, njemačkih, portugalskih, itd. redatelja. Drago mi je zbog konačnog osvještavanja teme o kojoj film progovara, a isto mi je tako zadovoljstvo da sam predstavila Hrvatsku i naš lijepi Jadran kojeg su toliko spominjali”, rezimirala je Sara svoje dojmove.
By the way, the film "I'm Silent" has already been shown at the Valjevo Film Festival and the 55th Croatian Film Festival, and since it has been submitted to several other festivals, we wish Sara lots of good news in the coming period.

ABOUT THE MOVIE
"Shutim" follows Barbara, a student preparing a solo photography exhibition. In anticipation of her first exhibition, invisible problems become increasingly apparent, and her fear-driven reactions result in changes. The film pushes all the boundaries of Barbara's intimacy.
