Erasmus students from Poland will remember their semester at VERN for working on projects and gaining practical knowledge

Students from different studies – finance and tourism – and from different universities took completely different courses at VERN', but both emphasize that they were very impressed by the way of studying here.

In the last group of Erasmus students who studied at VERN' University in the winter semester of this academic year, Dominika and Anna from Poland shared with us their impressions of studying in Zagreb.

They noticed that people in Croatia are much more relaxed than in Poland, but also that Zagreb has excellent transport connections to all cities in Croatia and neighboring countries, which they did not miss visiting.

Although they differ somewhat in their personal preferences regarding food and choosing Zagreb as an Erasmus destination, they share a positive impression of studying at VERN'.

"Studying at VERN is significantly different than in Poland, since here more attention is paid to practical work and improving presentation skills," said Dominika Dynowska , a student of finance and accounting at the Polish University of Gdańsk.

"At VERN, I certainly improved my English skills, but I also gained knowledge in rhetoric and developed the skill of presenting projects without creating stress. In the presence of students from all over Europe, I also had the opportunity to practice my Spanish, which will be very useful in my career," said Anna Figacz , a student of tourism economics at the Katowice University of Economics.
