Students had the opportunity to hear the latest findings about AI and how it affects our present and future.
The new round of "Student wellbeing" hosted Vedran Antoljak , expert and AI enthusiast, passionate futurist, business transformation consultant, reformer of regulatory systems, innovator of business models, trainer and author of the book "Design Thinking".
In an interesting and interactive lecture, VERN's students had the opportunity to hear the latest findings on artificial intelligence ( AI ) and how it affects our present and future. The students shared their thoughts and experiences of using AI in everyday life, and stated that education and information are of utmost importance for understanding this topic.
"It was a great pleasure to have the opportunity to speak with students from VERN' University about the impact of artificial intelligence on social well-being and specifically about the use of ChatGPT. This generation of students, Generation Z, approaches AI with an open mind and critical thinking, embracing technology not only as a tool, but also as a partner in solving global problems."
"Discussing ChatGPT, it was obvious that these young people were already thinking about the deeper ethical and social issues that arise when machines start 'talking'. For them, AI is not just something to be understood – it is something to be shaped, critically evaluated, and used with awareness of its impact. Although it turned out that 50% of the VERN students present were already using ChatGPT, it is encouraging that there is an interest in experimenting among the vast majority of students."
