"Creative Future Insights 2021"

Design management is playing an increasingly important role in the period of green transition that many economic and social systems are currently going through, and in order to encourage sustainability, consumers are paying more and more attention to usable design.

Changes in consumer behavior are even more visible in one of the most propulsive creative industries, namely the gaming industry, which is increasingly becoming a significant generator of new jobs.

Naglasci su ovo s panel diskusija koje su se održale na Sveučilištu VERN’, u okviru međunarodne znanstvene konferencije „Creative Future Insights 2021“ koja je održana 13. i 14. rujna.

Na panelu pod nazivom „Love Story of Design and Business: Design Management“ gostovali su doc. Izvorka Jurić (Design Bureau Izvorka Jurić), Marko Pavlović (OBLO) i Nikola Radeljković (NUMEN), koji su zaključili da dizajn menadžment ima sve veću ulogu u gospodarstvu i društvu te predstavlja jedan od najdinamičnijih i najprosperitetnijih podsektora kreativnih industrija.

Due to its multidisciplinarity, because it connects design, innovation, technology, management and customers, it provides economies with a competitive advantage through a triple envelope: economic, socio-cultural and environmental with the aim of achieving synergy of "design" and "business".

Na drugom panelu koji je bio posvećen gaming industriji „Life is Short Game More – Business is Everywhere“ gostovali su Lovro Nola (Machina), Zvonimir Mikšić (PISMO) i Martina Golčić iz Mobile Game Entertainmenta, dok je diskusiju moderirao Aleksandar Gavrilović (Gamechuck), tajnik Hrvatskog klastera proizvođača računalnih igara.

Representatives of one of the most dynamic sub-sectors of the Croatian creative industries pointed out that, according to recently published data, as many as 2.7 billion people play video games, which represents a market of one third of all humanity. The potential of the gaming industry is further confirmed by the fact that the computer games industry in the EU and the world is recording an annual growth of around 10 percent, and in Croatia this growth is as much as 50 percent. The panelists paid special attention to the latest trends in the development and marketing of computer games, as well as the challenges in educating new personnel for the needs of the gaming industry.

Since the goal of the international scientific conference "Creative Future Insights 2021" was to raise awareness of the importance of creative industries and to provide an academic contribution to the development of this sector in Croatia, experts from the academic and business community presented their scientific professional papers from a wide range of creative industries, from culture, media and politics, to the economy and technology sector.
