The workshop was attended by young scientists within the framework of the "COST Action" project.

VERN' University hosted an international workshop entitled "Early Career Researchers in Interdisciplinary Depolarisation Projects", which brought together young scientists from Ukraine, Italy, Serbia, Spain and Croatia.
The participants were welcomed by VERN's Vice-Rector for Studies , Professor Martina Majić , and Vice-Rector for Science and Quality , Dr. Sc. Rino Medić , and the introductory presentation was given by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sc. Tamara Kunić , head of VERN's undergraduate study program in Cyber Communications and graduate study program in Business Communications Management.
The participants of the workshop, which took place within the framework of the "COST Action" project, presented their analyses and exchanged thoughts on interdisciplinary areas such as the Russian invasion of Ukraine, civil society in Germany and Italy, gender rhetoric in Serbia, media reporting in Spain, the polarization of society in general and the role of scientists in combating it, etc. The aim was to encourage the development of competences related to scientific publishing and international networking, whereby VERN' University actively contributes to strengthening the mobility and internationalization of the research community.
