Student Award 'Young Hope'

Our student Valentina Pavlović is this year's 'Young Hope' of the Croatian Public Relations Association

VERN's Public Relations and Media Studies graduate, under the mentorship of Professor Stana Odak Krasić, won the "Young Hope" student award for the best final thesis.

We are extremely proud of all the achievements of our students, especially when they are further confirmed by the profession.

The work of our student Valentina, under the mentorship of our professor Stana Odak Krasić, was declared the best final paper of the Croatian Public Relations Association this year. In her work, Valentina analyzed the verbal communication of the victory speeches of the last three presidents of the Republic of Croatia, and shared her impressions of her achievement:

First of all, I would like to congratulate the winners, finalists and all the applicants. What a cliché it would be to say that I didn't expect it at all, but I really didn't. It's a wonderful feeling to receive recognition for something you did wholeheartedly and with full satisfaction. I would like to thank my mentor for her guidance and support, my best friends in the world and my entire family, because without all of them, who knows if a single letter of my work would exist.

This year, a total of three VERN's students made it to the finals of the "Young Hope" student award, which is organized annually by the Croatian Association for Public Relations, and which recognizes students for their demonstrated knowledge, excellence and dedication, and allows them to demonstrate their expertise, creativity and innovation in the field of communications. Along with Valentina, Davor Ćosić in the seminar paper category and Mislav Petošić in the final paper category also reached the finals.

We also congratulate our finalist students, our Valentina, as well as our mentors and lecturers. We support and encourage all of them to continue striving for excellence, new, different and innovative insights.
