German MBA students visited Bugatti Rimac and ZICER as part of an entrepreneurial workshop at VERN

The workshop was dominated by topics in the areas of innovation, entrepreneurship and environmental impact.

As part of the traditional long-standing cooperation between VERN' University and the German University of Aalen, a group of MBA students from there participated in an entrepreneurial workshop led by our professor , M. Sc. Gordana Ćorić .

In line with the celebration of World Creativity and Innovation Day (April 21st) and Earth Day (April 22nd), the workshop was dominated by topics in the fields of innovation, entrepreneurship and environmental impact, as well as research into entrepreneurial opportunities and models of impact on society.

The first day of the program began with an exciting visit to the Bugatti Rimac factory, where students learned about all the stages of finalizing the production of the Nevera electric hypercar. They were presented with all the processes that precede the delivery of the car to customers, and students noticed that this year's models are dominated by an intense green color instead of last year's "sea blue".

After the so-called problem solving session and practical workshop at VERN, the second day was marked by a visit to the Zagreb Innovation Center (ZICER) , where students learned about the work of several exceptional startups:

  • Calirad – a startup based on a camera system that recognizes risky situations in rally races, both for drivers and spectators.
  • Creative fields – a startup specializing in advanced solutions in the field of CFD (computational fluid dynamics) networks.
  • DING Applications (DING.jobs) – an application that makes it easier for students to find internships, first jobs and career development.
  • Sportreact – a startup that offers innovative technological solutions for training and testing athletes' reactions and agility.

In the continuation of the workshop, students attended lectures by Vedran Antoljak , an international expert in the areas of Digital Business Transformation, Strategic Agility and Digital AI Tools, and a two-day Design Thinking workshop.
