VERN' lecturer Petar Tanta won two HUOJ Grand Prix

The campaigns "Separate, it's easy" and "Negligence is the first spark" are the work of CTA Communications, whose director is our colleague.

At the recently held Grand PRix awards ceremony of the Croatian Public Relations Association, VERN' lecturer Petar Tanta and his team from the CTA communications agency had a double reason to celebrate.

Both of their campaigns submitted in the category " Grand Prix for Public Relations for Large Companies " - "Separate, It's Easy" and "Negligence is the First Spark" - won the HUOJ Grand Prix .

What is especially important for the first campaign is that HUOJ's recognition comes shortly after they were awarded for the same campaign at the Communication Days .

"We are particularly pleased to receive these awards because both campaigns are very important social issues. The collaboration with the Split rapper Vojko V proved to be crucial in the 'Odvoji, lako je' campaign and spawned a hit that went beyond the borders of Split. On the other hand, the main message of the fire prevention campaign for Croatian Forests emphasizes that as many as 90 percent of fires could be prevented if people cared more about their actions in nature. The public listened to the message and compared to the previous year, 94 percent more hectares of forest were preserved, and as many as 203 fewer fires were recorded," explained Petar Tanta, director of CTA communications and lecturer at VERN's Public Relations in Integrated Communications course.

Let us remind you that "Separate, it's easy" is an information campaign that aimed to inform citizens about the new system of waste separation into semi-underground containers in the city of Split.

The second campaign is an integrated fire prevention campaign that was implemented during 2023, for Croatian Forests. The main goal was to raise awareness among citizens about their role in preserving forests, property, and then human lives from the devastating effects of fire, which was done through a series of spots on TV, radio, and digital channels.

Once again, congratulations!
