Student-run Kliofest

VERN' University students live stream this year's Kliofest

In the spirit of academic cooperation, VERN' University joined the organization of the history festival as a production partner.

The eighth edition of the Kliofest history festival, which was held at the National and University Library in Zagreb in mid-May, was once again a first-class cultural event this year, despite epidemiological restrictions.

During the four days of this festival, the interested cultural public was able to follow numerous forums, panel discussions, conferences, as well as presentations of historiographic and publishing projects and institutions via live stream and with limited visits to the events themselves.

In the spirit of academic cooperation, VERN' University joined the organization of this year's Kliofest as a production partner of the festival, providing significant technical and human resources. In the realization of this production-demanding project, VERN's art students played one of the key roles.

As part of fieldwork in the courses Television Recording and Television in Theory and Practice , VERN's students, with the support of their lecturers-mentors Miljenko Bukovčan , Radoslav Pažameta and Petar Vučetić , enabled monitoring of the most significant events of the first two days of the festival via live stream on YouTube.

After the broadcast of the first pre-election debate between Zagreb's mayoral candidates held in April on VERN', this is the second public event this semester where art students had the opportunity to hone their production skills and gain new practical experience, as well as contribute to informing the public, for which we thank them once again.
