Davor Ćosić, Valentina Pavlović and Mislav Petošić are competing for the student award for excellence in public relations.
Three VERN students made it to the finals of this year's "Young Hope" student award, which is organized every year by the Croatian Association for Public Relations, and which recognizes students for demonstrated knowledge, excellence and commitment, and enables them to demonstrate their expertise, creativity and innovation in the field of communications.
The finalists from VERN' University are:
in the category Student Award for Seminar Paper
- Davor Ćosić "Adolescents' and young people's perception of media coverage on the topic of coronavirus", mentor Marija Slijepčević
in the category Student Award for Final Thesis
- Valentina Pavlović "Analysis of verbal communication of victory speeches of the last three presidents of the Republic of Croatia", mentor Stana Odak Krasić
- Mislav Petošić "Analysis of political communication on social networks during the election campaign for the 2020 parliamentary elections", mentor Marija Slijepčević
A total of three finalists were nominated in each of these categories, and the award will also be awarded in the Student Award for Communication Plan or Communication Strategy category.
The announcement of the winners by category will be held on November 9th, as part of the Student Conference, and we wish our colleagues the best of luck in the final selection!
