Inter-study collaboration

VERN's PR students held press conference simulations again this year, and were asked questions by journalism students

This year's ten teams held press conferences where they presented their "student projects" in the course Media Relations and Public Relations Techniques.

VERN's undergraduate students in Public Relations, as part of the course Media Relations and Public Relations Techniques , held simulations of press conferences this year, where they presented their "student projects", which are partial reinterpretations of projects from the social, political and economic environment.

The goal of this practicum is experiential learning that shows students how to plan, develop, and present projects with commercial or public purposes, regardless of whether they are represented by business organizations, the public, or non-profit sectors.

Topics and projects that the students worked on under the mentorship of professor Assoc. Ph.D. This year, Marije Slijepčević and assistant lecturer Mislav Petošić point to a wide range of their interests, but also their affinity in terms of business profiling, so they presented the following projects:

  • Return of INA to Croatian ownership
  • SheFit – a gym for women only
  • Sephora arrives in Croatia
  • SferOS
  • The first dog fashion show in Croatia
  • Let's connect Croatia
  • Opening of the first women's club in Zagreb
  • Opening of the first La PIEL by Lana Jurčević store
  • Opening of the Volkswagen plant in Novska
  • ZARA x Lei Lou for women.

In addition to independently developing projects, student teams also produced media materials, created invitations and press releases, experienced the creation of so-called adrema and ultimately faced numerous "media" issues, which were realistically simulated by Journalism students in the role of journalists from various media outlets .

We bring you some of the good atmosphere from the simulations in the photo gallery.
