Instructions for enrollment through the state matriculation examination

This registration model is intended for:

  • to all candidates who are in the "become a student" system during the summer enrollment period this year.

Registration procedure:

1. Enrollment in the "become a student" system

  • set, if you haven't already, VERN's desired study as the 1st choice in the "become a student" system


2. Registration in the VERN system

  • If you haven't already, fill out the online study application form in the VERN information system:

After filling out the application form, you will receive user data for logging into the Studomatic personal student portal, and we will contact you regarding:

  • all questions about enrollment and studying that may interest you
  • instructions for possible exercise of the right to a tuition fee reduction (if you have not already done so)

3. Reservation of enrollment place – payment of enrollment fee

Reservation of an enrollment place is represented by payment of an enrollment fee in the amount of 350.00 euros (2,637.08 kuna), which is included in the tuition fee for the first year of study.

You can find an example of a completed payment slip in two places:

  • at the link: vern.hr/uplatnica where you will also find the QR code for mobile banking;
  • on your student portal: Studomatic – under Forms, Example of a completed payment slip.

 

4. Verification of signature and submission of study contract

The study contract will be activated on the student portal after registration and payment of the enrollment fee.
Contracts from the student side are signed by you and the guarantor/payer, and signing or signature verification can be done in two ways:

  • At the student office of VERN' University (Palmotićeva 82/1) – You and the guarantor/payer should come to the student office where we will print out your copies of the contract and sign it by presenting the signatory's ID cards or passports.
  • At a notary public – You and the guarantor/payer, with printed and unsigned copies (4 copies) of the contract from the student portal, have the signatures certified by a notary public. Deliver the contracts with certified signatures to the student office in person, or exceptionally, you can send them by mail.

 

5. Completion of enrollment – ​​submission of remaining enrollment documentation

Enrollment documentation is submitted to the student office, and for enrollment in the study program, the following is required: 

  • Submit original certificates from 1st to 4th grade of high school and a certificate of passing the state matriculation exam.
  • present your ID card upon registration
  • submit the study contract in accordance with step 4.
  • Foreign citizens must also attach a copy of the appropriate proof of citizenship.
