Working on real business projects

VERN's accounting and finance students presented project solutions for the company Vinolog

Throughout the semester, students completed a project assignment as part of the Strategic Management course.

As part of the VERN' University's collaboration project with the economy, #EducationMeetsBusiness, students of the specialist graduate study Accounting and Finance presented their project solutions for the partner company Vinolog.

Throughout the semester, students completed a project assignment as part of their Strategic Management course, with the mentoring assistance of professor, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sc. Jadranka Ivanković as their academic mentor, and business mentor Jelena Balog , also the owner and director of Vinolog, which has established itself on the Croatian market for the production of its own wines in Ilok, Istria and Pelješac.

Some of them have been crowned with Decanter medals, the most prestigious and largest wine competition in the world, and in addition to production, Vinolog also provides advisory support for winemakers and winegrowers and participates in quality control and sales promotion.

This approach to teaching and student specialization is one of the advantages of studying at VERN's graduate programs, as it allows for networking, working on real business projects, getting to know different industries, and meeting potential employers. Companies also recognize the benefits of collaborating with students, as this way they have access to new ideas and new talent.
