This was an opportunity for students to network and learn about current events.
Third-year students of the undergraduate Tourism study program at VERN' University visited the PLACE2GO International Tourism Fair in early April as part of their fieldwork in the Event Management in Tourism course.
Students and lecturer Nataša Jeličić were hosted by the fair director Damjana Domanovac , who enabled our students to visit the fair on a day dedicated to the B2B segment, as well as to meet directly with exhibitors.
Thus, our students exchanged ideas and impressions with exhibitors, representatives of the tourism sector in Croatia, about the development and implementation of current projects in tourism, innovation and marketing of tourism products, as well as the challenges they face and the opportunities offered by Croatian tourism. Given the large number of exhibitors and the rich offer of the fair, this was an excellent opportunity for networking and getting acquainted with current events.
