VERN's students successfully developed project "recruitment models" for Atlantic Grupa

As part of the assignment, students, divided into teams, had to design and develop a "graduate trainee recruitment model" and a "professional/managerial recruitment model".

In the summer semester , students of VERN's graduate study Human Resources Management successfully completed a mentored Atlantic Grupa project assignment on the topic of " increasing the creativity and innovation index of newly employed persons in the Group, through a strategic and targeted approach to candidate sourcing and candidate selection" in the summer semester within the subject Recruitment, selection and scheduling of employees.

As part of this task, students, divided into teams, had to design and develop a " graduate trainee recruitment model" and a "professional/managerial recruitment model" , and they developed project solutions according to the specific characteristics of each model.

GRADUATE TRAINEES
Every year, 30 trainees in all markets in the departments of sales, marketing, development, production and support functions access the one-year development program, so that at the end of the program they will take over junior functions in the departments within which they developed and in the long term they will form the leadership structure of the company. The students had the task through the " candidate sourcing approach" to design the channels, the principle of promotion, and possibly also the determinants of the campaign that will promote the so-called "AG employer brand" whose purpose is to increase the index of innovation and creativity among new generations of employees, and the selection model through which the 30 best graduates of the program with leadership potential will be selected.

PROFESSIONAL / MANAGERIAL
The task for the students was to design the so-called talent attraction models through professional networking and inclusion in the professional community of targeted experts (sales, marketing, FMCG industry, IT industry, FOOD & BEV production), through which the innovation index will be increased at the management and specialist levels in the organization (the so-called managerial & professional layers ).

This approach of students to solving business cases from real business practice is part of VERN's unique concept of dual education "company-partners", within which VERN' collaborates with successful companies in Croatia, thus integrating students into a real business environment and encouraging their cooperation with the economy.

The concept is divided into three segments - theoretical teaching, familiarization with the project assignment and work on the project, and the final presentation before the expert jury, i.e. the mentors who guide the students in creating project solutions, and who in this project were Ph.D. Irena Miljković Krečar , subject teacher and academic mentor, and Vesna Potelj , Head of Corporate Recruitment and Induction at Atlantic Grupa and business mentor for this project assignment.
