From the new academic year, an even more interesting journalism study program - broadcast in focus

Starting next academic year, newly enrolled journalism students will have the opportunity to follow the program refreshed with new content.

Today, in the already advanced era of information capitalism and a networked hyper-consumer society, the profession of journalism is experiencing a thorough redefinition of its social role and practices, and with it, educational models intended for new generations of journalists are also being transformed.

How can we design a journalism education program in the age of universal connectivity, digital social networks, influencer culture, and media dominance by persuasion industries? What should a modern journalist's "survival kit" look like in the age of "image civilization," media convergence, and the complete democratization of the production of informative and pseudo-informative content? Are we truly living in a "post-journalistic" era, or does this calling, despite everything, still have an authentic social meaning?

VERN's "upgraded" undergraduate study program in Journalism will attempt to offer a constructive response to some of these dilemmas starting this fall. Starting next academic year, newly enrolled students in the Journalism study program will have the opportunity to follow a program refreshed with new content, which will focus on broadcast journalism and modern communication platforms.

What will the refreshed concept of this study offer? What will students learn?
