The film was written and directed by student Dina Uglešić, whose thesis is also hers.
The short film Pater familias by Dina Uglešić, a student of VERN's graduate program in Film and TV Directing and Production, won the award for best foreign film at the 19th International Student Film Festival EarlyBird, held in Sofia.
This is the first award for a film that has so far been screened at three film festivals – Pula Film Festival 2023, Student World Impact Film Festival 2023 and SHORT TO THE POINT (STTP) – while Bulgaria was its fourth stop, and the fifth will be the 55th Croatian Film Festival (competition program).
This is Dina's third film to enjoy a rich festival tour, which this time in Bulgaria was accompanied by our student Allina Nicolis , who is the film's executive producer.
