Karlo Gagulić is the director and screenwriter of the film, which will be screened for the first time at an international festival where it will compete for an international award.

First-year undergraduate student of the Film, Television and Multimedia Design program at VERN' University, Karlo Gagulić , will have the premiere of his third film "The School That Doesn't Exist" at the "13th Youth Film Festival in Sarajevo" where he will compete for the main prize.
"The script was created in the course of Vinko Brešan, who gave us the first assignment to write a script, which is also a part of our autobiography. Since I had an interesting experience with high school, more precisely it turned out that I went to a school that ended up in bankruptcy, and we found out about it on television, I decided to show that grotesque thing through a film, to which I also added a bit of fiction" , explained Karlo.
He points out that he quickly assembled a team, they auditioned and got to work, but is the award important to him?
"Honestly, the award is not that important to me, it's more important to me to travel with the film and show the audience what we've made. I'm very grateful to all the people on set, the producers, the technicians, the actors, VERN' for providing me with the equipment, the Blank association that also helped us with the equipment, the numerous sponsors who made sure we weren't hungry and thirsty on set, etc. By the way, interestingly, my first feature film "Ship in a Bottle" which I made just for the VERN' entrance exam also made it to this festival and is competing for the award, so this year I'm going to Sarajevo with two of my films."
