During this summer, Petra shared with us her academic impressions from Fresenius University of Applied Sciences and a few "winter memorabilia".

"When I was thinking about going on Erasmus, my main obstacle was the fear of the unknown and whether six months would be too long for me. In the end, not only was I not afraid - I was sorry that I didn't go to Munich for a year. The city is truly beautiful - I have never seen so many sights, museums, exhibitions, parks, restaurants, castles, lakes and gardens in one place before," began Petra Gudelj , a student of VERN's undergraduate Cyber Communication program , sharing her Erasmus impressions.
"Although the city is huge, it has excellent transport connections and I could easily get everywhere with my student card. Since my Erasmus mobility started in September, I had the opportunity to go to Oktoberfest several times - which I highly recommend. During this time, all the residents, locals and tourists wear folk costumes and everyone is cheerful - even the professors and students came to college dressed traditionally, which was very nice."

"And besides the warm autumn, I also experienced half a meter of snow, closed roads, and sometimes canceled lectures due to snowdrifts. But the magical side of that winter is that Advent seems like a fairy tale and every weekend you can visit a different square, and it's impossible to visit them all considering how many there are."
"I also have only positive experiences with the Fresenius University of Applied Sciences itself, where I studied. The professors were very accommodating, and my fellow students were very curious because they wanted to find out as many details as possible about the country that they associate with vacations and holidays. Although the lectures were in English, I learned German better and experienced their culture. We often had to do practical assignments, write seminars and give presentations, and all the projects we worked on were assigned by real employers who were interested in our suggestions or solutions to a problem."

Finally, she added that the Erasmus exchange brought her multiple benefits - she improved her knowledge of English and German, broadened her horizons, improved her presentation skills and gained a new circle of friends and acquaintances.
"I am grateful for the opportunity that VERN' has given me and I advise you all – go on Erasmus."
