At the beginning of each semester at VERN' you can experience a new combination of European languages, physiognomies, and cultural experiences.

However, when someone comes to Croatia for one semester and likes it so much that they decide to extend their stay for another semester, that's not quite a "standard" story.
Hana Ondrejmišková is studying Tourism at VERN', taking courses in the field of tourism and hotel management, which she is attending through the Erasmus+ program. She is originally from Slovakia, and although she initially started her studies in Prague, due to her love of traveling and gaining new experiences, by the age of 22 she had already traveled a large part of Europe. She liked VERN' so much that she decided to extend her stay for another semester. Why?
Well, one of the reasons is certainly the collegiality in VERN's volleyball team, which Hana testifies to as follows: "At first, I thought I wouldn't be able to go to Dubrovnik because I was supposed to travel to Vienna on the last day of the tournament, but when I called Marija, he asked me when I was going, and the next thing he told me was not to worry and to go to Dubrovnik with them. The next time I saw the volleyball girls, they told me they would buy me a ticket from Dubrovnik to Zagreb, so I could get to Vienna faster. I cried and couldn't believe it. As a gift, I made T-shirts for all of us with #ZABORAVI because that's the first word I learned. On the court, when I make a mistake, I always apologize, and the girls just say 'Oh, forget it'".
