Project workshop at VERN "Design your career"

The "Design Your Career" project started as a pilot project of sorts under the leadership of Professor Silvana Fratrić Kunac . Conceived as a series of connected extracurricular workshops held once a week, with thematic units based on a diary that we ourselves kept at home, this project brought a completely new approach to working with students.

The aforementioned project workshops were structured primarily through conversations that took their form through modern methods of stimulating thinking and finding new ideas - from design thinking to various brainstorming techniques.

Although the name itself clearly suggests that these are activities through which students are given the tools to find and create the power of that career path, Professor Fratrić Kunac significantly expanded this area and our tasks were often imbued with elements of personal development. Certainly, her additional engagement resulted in fantastic results at the end of the project because through this way of working we were able to discuss and resolve our everyday thoughts, questions, but also problems, and thus more clearly see and consider the career options that lie ahead of us.

Also, it is important to point out that the methodology of the design thinking principle is based on the person coming to some new knowledge and broadening their perspectives through intrinsic questioning, and not suggesting pre-created options, as is usually the practice in similar courses and workshops.
