"Young Hope" of HUOJ: VERN's students receive recognition "in the out-of-competition category"

Although our students competed with their projects in the "Communication Project" category, the expert jury decided that their projects significantly exceeded the criteria for evaluating works in that category.

At the annual student awards ceremony of the Croatian Public Relations Association (HUOJ) – “Young Hope” – held in early December in Zagreb, VERN's students Magdalena Denona and Marina Kirinčić Zupičić were presented with certificates of participation, in recognition of excellence for their projects in the “out-of-competition category”.

Although our students competed with their projects in the "Communication Project" category, of course, created within the framework of their studies, the expert jury for the awards decided that their projects exceeded the criteria for evaluating works in this category and, due to the excellence of their projects, singled them out from the competition of other competitors and awarded them with separate awards.

The awards were presented to them by Zdeslav Milas, M.Sc. , a member of the expert jury for evaluating student projects.

Our representatives prof. Ph.D. Lana Hudeček and alumni Igor Ćutuk , who held a joint workshop on "Croatian language in public relations".

The aim of the "Young Hope" award, presented by the Croatian Public Relations Association, is to promote excellence among students and motivate them to acquire new knowledge and skills in the field of public relations. The award is a recognition by the professional association for the demonstrated knowledge, excellence and commitment of students taking courses or studies in the field of public relations.

We are pleased that the umbrella PR association in Croatia has recognized the excellence of our students!
