The pages of the magazine are filled out based on the data entered by the client, and the graphic design is shaped accordingly.

Do you like reading magazines – digital or print? And what do you think about the idea of reading a magazine about yourself?
This is precisely the thought that guided our graduate Tea Sorko , who recently launched an innovative entrepreneurial-creative project to create unique, fully personalized magazines called "Soul Talk".
The concept is very simple. Clients who want to order a magazine for themselves, or even better as a gift for someone else, answer Tea's carefully selected questions, and after gathering enough information, she throws herself into the creative part.
"Since Soul Talk is completely personalized, I choose a personalized design, preferred colors and fonts for each client, process the photos according to personal preferences, and then arrange everything in InDesign, Illustrator and Canva. The design of the page changes from the original plan, depending on what the photos are and how much information I have about the person I'm making the magazine for, and in addition to the cover, the magazine also has an editor's note on the first page, i.e. a message from the person to the person who is receiving the magazine," explains Tea.
Although she emphasizes that she draws inspiration for design and writing articles from renowned glossy magazines such as Voque or Storybook, the knowledge she gained during her undergraduate studies in Film, Television and Multimedia Design at VERN' University is extremely useful to her.
"In the design and copywriting courses I took for all three years, I realized that this was something I really enjoyed and could use in the future, so I listened carefully to every lecture. Professors like Ana Vilenica, Vinko Brešan, or Martina Granić greatly influenced my perception of these courses and the definition of my personal creative expression style. We worked with software that introduced me to the world of digital design and helped me see how to use all the benefits of today's technology. Although, honestly, I still prefer to feel paper under my fingers and leaf through books and magazines, today's trends impose a different way of consuming content."

We were also interested in what orders she would single out as the most interesting and what was her favorite thing to work on?
"My favorite order was probably from a granddaughter who gave her grandmother a 'Soul Talk' magazine for her 84th birthday. My grandmother is completely relaxed and fun, and you could see that while I was working on the magazine. That's why I gave myself freedom and let my imagination create new funny stories and photos, which my granddaughter was so thrilled about that we are still in touch to this day. As a token of gratitude for such a pleasant collaboration, I decided to design them a poster that they could print and frame. Each creation is special and has segments that I enjoy, whether it's for friends, friends of friends, or strangers. For example, one boy has always dreamed of opening his own donut shop, so I made an entire advertisement where he sells his donuts in all possible flavors. All that matters to me is that the person giving it to him and the person who will receive it likes the magazine. The goal is for each of them to leaf through 'Soul Talk' on their next birthday and see how much they have achieved and where they are currently."
