The summer school is organized by the Croatian Office for Creativity and Innovation (HUKI) in cooperation with the UNICEF Office for Croatia, the Embassy of the United States of America in the Republic of Croatia, and VERN' University.
This year's jubilee fifth edition of the summer program for high school students "Innovation Academy" will be held from August 23rd to 27th in the academic premises of VERN' University in Zagreb.
The summer school will offer students seven modules – Future skills, IT genius (beginner), IT genius (advanced), Future Leader, Future Entrepreneur, Digital Skills and Robotics – where they will immerse themselves in the world of innovation, programming, global trends, technology and entrepreneurship. The aim of the program is to impart relevant knowledge and skills for the 21st century to students through interactive workshops and lectures, as well as by working on interesting projects with the support of expert mentors.
Applications are open until July 18th for high school students from all over Croatia, and participation is completely free.
During its five years of existence, the " Innovation Academy" has brought together more than 500 satisfied high school students and 18 top lecturers, and it is also useful to know that a scholarship fund has been provided for students from outside Zagreb to participate, which covers accommodation costs during the program.
