Through four short films – Call Center, I Didn't Drink... Hilda and In Both Directions – a large audience was convinced of the students' screenwriting, producing, cinematography and directing potential, which they successfully realized under the mentorship and in collaboration with eminent names in the domestic audiovisual industry.
"The student films, which are the result of the work of second-year FTMO students under the mentorship of their professors Vinko Brešan, Neven Hitrec, Ivan Maloča, Višnja Skorin, to name just a few names, are both creatively and professionally at a level that confirms the excellence of the study itself and the justification for such a public presentation. The task we set ourselves was demanding and in many ways unique in the field of higher film education, and I believe that we fulfilled it in the best way, which is certainly an encouragement for everything that lies ahead," said the head of the study , Dr. sc. Ozana Ramljak .
The main protagonists of the student feature films were the actors: Filip Mayer, Iskra Jirsak, Urša Raukar and Pero Juričić, in the film Call Center ; Dado Ćosić and Mia Biondić, in the film I Didn't Drink...; Asja Jovanović, Darko Milas, Sven Medvešek, Paško Vukasović, Hana Kunić and Vinko Kraljević, in the film Hilda; and Asim Ugljen, Monika Berberović and Paola Slavica, in the film In Both Directions.
The space of Zagreb's Europa Cinema was filled with numerous curious onlookers and a number of well-known public figures, who greeted all four films with hearty applause and undivided sympathy, such as Zrinko Ogresta, Boris Homovec, Sanja Pilić, Slavica Šnur, Sergej Stanojkovski and many others.
