Fieldwork

VERN's students and their Erasmus colleagues learned how to connect cultural heritage and tourism

For our students, this was a great opportunity to gain additional knowledge in the very important tourism segment of destination management, as well as for foreign colleagues, for whom this knowledge can serve as inspiration for ideas that they will implement in their environments.

Students of VERN's undergraduate study program in Tourism and foreign Erasmus students studying an exchange semester at VERN' visited the Ethnographic Museum in Zagreb as part of their fieldwork in the Event Management course.

Our students and lecturer Lidija Fištrek were hosted by Dr. Zvjezdana Antoš , museum advisor and head of the collection of furniture, household items and paintings, who gave them a presentation on the topic of "how to implement cultural heritage when designing products and events".

This was a great opportunity for our students to gain additional knowledge in the very important tourism segment of destination management, as well as for foreign colleagues, who can use this knowledge as inspiration for ideas that they will implement in their environments.
