Film, TV and Multimedia Design students Hana and Roko wanted to convey the message with their film that people are not entirely benevolent towards nature.

VERN' University students Hana Kocijan and Roko Raguž won 3rd place in the film competition "The Greener, the Sincerter", whose goal was to show how people relate to nature and the environment.
The competition was organized by Večernji list under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports and the Croatian Tourist Board, and young authors applied with one-minute films.
The best three films were selected by an expert jury consisting of renowned domestic experts in the fields of tourism, advertising, communications, media and film: spokesperson for the Ministry of Tourism and Sports Jelena Kolar , director of the promotion and advertising sector of the Croatian National Tourist Board Martina Srnec , professor of public relations and communications expert Božo Skoko , creative director and co-owner of the Bruketa&Žinić&Gray agency Davor Bruketa , journalist from Večernji list Radmila Kovačević , editor Hrvoje Mršić and screenwriter Alen Đurica .
All three best teams were awarded cash prizes, and our students commented that they wanted to send a message about the desire for change with this film.
"Through every image, every frame, we wanted to make viewers aware of the current state of ecology in our country. We want to encourage them to see the truth, to face the fact that we may not be as green and honest as we like to think. But we also want to inspire them to act, not to be satisfied with just words, but to take an active role in preserving the environment," commented Hana and Roko, both final year students of Film, TV and Multimedia Design .
Congratulations to our colleagues on winning 3rd place!
