Fieldwork

VERN's tourism students learned about the "Little Zagreb" project at the field lesson

It is a series of miniature installations placed within busy and interesting streets in the city.

Students in fieldwork

Students of the undergraduate study program Tourism - Tourism and Hotel Management visited installations within the "Little Zagreb" project as part of their fieldwork in the course Event Management in Tourism .

Accompanied by course leader and lecturer Nataša Jeličić and lecturer Assistant Professor of Art Martina Granić, the students visited locations where miniature installations were placed, whose tiny compositions resemble the facades of Zagreb apartment buildings and the shop windows of once common Zagreb shops and crafts.

Only in the field did the students have the opportunity to fully experience what the project was about, since it is necessary to stop and examine the installations carefully in order to discover what they represent.

In this way, the students were introduced to a specific project that is certainly new in Zagreb's tourism offer. Before going out into the field, "Little Zagreb" was presented to them by the author of the project Filip Filković Philatz and the project coordinator Lucija Švob , who shared their experiences and challenges in the creation and implementation of this project during an online guest lecture.

Students invite you to discover "Little Zagreb".
