Guest lecture by Ljupka Gojić Mikić to PR students on building a personal brand and a career abroad

The guest shared with the students her personal story about her international career in the fashion industry, the launch of the Jolie Petite fashion brand, and the famous Jolie Petite Patisserie pastry shop.

As part of the Personal Public Relations course taught by lecturer Hrvoje Ratkić, Ljupka Gojić Mikić , the most successful Croatian model who has achieved an enviable international career, worn fashion shows by numerous world designers and graced the covers of numerous fashion magazines, and is today a successful entrepreneur, was a guest.

Ljupka shared her inspiring story with our undergraduate students of Public Relations , sharing her experiences from the international fashion industry and her entrepreneurial journey, as she is the owner of the fashion brand Jolie Petite and the famous patisserie in Zagreb, Jolie Petite Patisserie.

By her example, she showed how authenticity and clearly defined values ​​can be used to build a career, regardless of the industry, and facing challenges is key to strengthening self-confidence.

"Healthy self-confidence means being aware of your strengths and weaknesses and accepting them," she said, adding that "people recognize honesty, and it builds long-term relationships - whether in business or in personal life."

She concluded by emphasizing to the students that it is important to learn from mistakes, stay true to your goals even when they seem unattainable, and be consistent in your behavior and communication, as this is crucial for building a personal brand. The final message was simple and powerful: "Believe in yourself and never forget who you are."
