Croatia is richer for one new university, the first and so far the only one established under existing legislation, aligned with the highest international higher education quality standards.

Starting today, students at VERN' University can study three new and innovative undergraduate university studies that will enable them to efficiently and quickly integrate into the labor market, i.e. employment and self-employment: Cyber Communications and Network Science, Internet of Things, and Transmedia Dramaturgy.
The study of Cyber Communication and Network Science is intended for freshmen who want to become managers of digital media and social networks using today's most modern software. The Internet of Things offers higher education for work in technological fields IV. industrial revolution, and Transmedia dramaturgy is intended for those who want to be screenwriters of films, series and video games, producers of media projects and content creators for online platforms.
The start of the new university's academic activities takes place in the year when VERN' celebrates its 30th anniversary of its existence and activities in the field of education . In three decades of development, VERN' has gone through a unique development path from lifelong education in an international environment, through a college and polytechnic, to a university, as the highest institutional level in the academic and scientific field.

The Rector of VERN' University , Prof. Dr. Sc. Vlatko Cvrtila, stated on this occasion: " Our innovative study programs show how it is possible to follow global trends in higher education in terms of content, but also comprehensive competencies that will enable students to quickly find employment in professions that are already in demand now, and will be even more so in the near future. Students are waiting for highly competent lecturers and a stimulating educational model in which they will work individually, in teams and on projects, with great opportunities for cooperation with the business sector and work on real projects."
