Students of computer science studies,

The Ministry of Science, Education and Youth has published a Public Call for the award of state scholarships in STEM fields of science for the academic year 2025/2026.

The deadline for applying to the public call is November 12, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. , and students apply for STEM scholarships through the state scholarship system using the AAI@EduHr electronic identity.

The right to a state STEM scholarship is exercised by students with full-time status who study some of the STEM studies at higher education institutions in the Republic of Croatia, such as: studies in the biotechnical, technical, biomedical and natural sciences, studies leading to the academic or professional title of university bachelor, i.e. bachelor of informatics, business informatics, information sciences, information technology and information technology, university master of informatics, information science, information technology and information technology and master of business information systems, as well as STEM teaching studies that have been issued a permit to conduct studies for the teaching major and studies of the teaching major of informatics leading to the academic title of university master of information technology education.

After the completion of applications to the state scholarship system, a ranking list will be generated for students according to which they are entitled to use the STEM scholarship. Ranking lists for first-year students are determined according to the number of points achieved in the state matriculation exam in mathematics. Ranking lists for senior students are determined in such a way that the number of points is calculated based on the product of the average number of ECTS points achieved during the course of studies (which can be a maximum of 60 in a particular year of study) and the weighted arithmetic mean of two expressions of different values.
