The freshmen were welcomed by the rector of VERN' University, heads of individual studies and professors, and their older student colleagues.
On the eve of the start of the new academic year, the traditional "Undergraduate Orientation Day" was held at VERN' University - a gathering of freshmen with heads of studies, lecturers, and VERN' students.
The freshmen were welcomed by Prof. Dr. Sc. Vlatko Cvrtila , Rector of VERN' University, and the students learned more about their study program from the head of study, lecturers, and VERN' students themselves. The professors provided the students with more detailed information about studying, the courses they were expected to take, exam deadlines, teaching materials, student counseling, etc.
Senior students introduced their younger colleagues to the rich selection of extracurricular activities and student life at VERN', which offers students the opportunity to engage in recreational and competitive sports, visit cultural events, attend interesting panels and round tables, participate in the organization of events, and much more. After the official part of the program, interested freshmen were able to consult on the choice of sports activities and continue socializing and exchanging impressions on the courtyard terrace of VERN's canteen.
