The event dedicated to combating disinformation was organized by the Croatian Association of Digital Publishers (HUDI), and included presentations of trends, project announcements, and expert presentations by Google representatives.

DigitalPub Day 2024, which took place in Zagreb on June 20 at the Wespa Business & Lounge, gathered leading experts from online media and other industries in the segment of digital publishing and advertising.
The event was organized by the Croatian Association of Digital Publishers (HUDI), and it started with welcoming words from the president of HUDI, Matej Lončarić , the general director of digital operations of CME Adria, and the presentation of two key fact-checking projects of the Agency for Electronic Media and the Ministry of Culture and Media, to which HUDI provides partner support:
- VERN's TurFacto project presented by the editor-in-chief and lecturer Dr. sc. Marija Slijepčević
- FERIT's FACT project presented by its leader , Dr. Josip Job
In the continuation of the program, lectures were held by Joško Mrndže , director of the Adriatic region at Google, on the topic of Google's approach to artificial intelligence, then Natalia Żaba , Google Teaching Fellow from the Google News Initiative, on the topic of de-bunking, Marina Parić , head of marketing communications at A1, on the #BoljiOnline project, and Maximilian Mondel and Gernot Kammerer from the communication agency Momentum Wien, who presented trends in spending on digital advertising in Europe and Croatia.
The very end of the event was marked by the announcement of this year's award in the field of digital industry, SoMo Borac 2024 , followed by professional networking for the exchange of ideas and opinions.
