The Smart Tourism Concept Implementation program focuses on accessibility in tourism, where participants will learn about the concept and market for accessible tourism, including reasonable accommodation and universal design. The role of technology in the development of accessible tourism will be a key topic, with an emphasis on technologies that facilitate access to tourism content for people with different needs. In addition, there will be an emphasis on creativity, innovation and the improvement of tourism experiences, where participants will explore the role of creative industries and technology in the development of innovative tourism products and experiences. The program includes an exploration of the concept of smart tourism, including the development and characteristics of smart cities and their application in tourist destinations.
The program will enable participants to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to critically consider and implement smart solutions in tourism destinations through the possibilities of applying technological solutions that contribute to more efficient management of tourism destination resources, as well as improving accessibility. Participants will study the components of smart tourism destinations and the ways in which technological solutions, such as big data, blockchain technology, Internet of Things (IoT), and virtual and augmented reality, can improve the user experience and operational efficiency. Through practical exercises, participants will work on developing strategies that use these technologies to improve tourism services and analyze visitor data and market behavior.
The Smart Tourism Concept Implementation program focuses on the principles of sustainable tourism development, the importance of stakeholders in sustainable development, and the management of smart tourist destinations. Through active participation, analysis, and practical exercises, participants will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for the successful management of tourist destinations in accordance with modern trends, technologies, and sustainability principles.

- Know the tourist destination system, its characteristics, elements, organization and methods of operation.
- To know the economic theory of public goods and management models for the purpose of their sustainable tourism valorization.
- Understand relevant public policies in the function of developing a tourist destination.
- Evaluate and implement appropriate visitor flow management instruments.
- Implement sustainability principles into the planning process for the development of tourist destinations.
- Analyze external and internal risks and their impact on visitors and the tourist destination.
- Participate in the design and implementation of smart technological solutions in the function of sustainable development of tourist destinations.
- Understand processes in global markets and identify the implications of trends on the tourist destination system.
- Apply information and communication technologies for the needs of managing e-marketing activities in a tourist destination.
- Identify and valorize tourism resources and attractions while respecting the principles of corporate social responsibility.
- Participate in the design and implementation of modern ways of interpreting destination resources and content.

What is an education voucher?
The Education Voucher is a financial support from the Croatian Employment Service, which, in cooperation with educational institutions, allocates public funds for adult education. Each voucher user is enabled to independently choose an educational program, as well as an education provider, among which VERN' University proudly takes its place.
Who can use the voucher?
Vouchers can be used by all unemployed and employed persons over the age of 15, who are guaranteed the acquisition of the necessary skills for career development, employment or job retention.
The right to use vouchers is not exercised by persons in the regular education system (pupils), persons in the higher education and science system (students), and pension beneficiaries.
Using the program is simple and easily accessible:
- The first step is to request the offer you need below on the selected program in order to submit a request to the CES. The offer is not binding and serves only to register for the use of the voucher on the CES website.

Programs covered by the education voucher system are held on the premises of VERN' University (VERN' Cube, Palmotićeva 82/1, Zagreb), and are available to participants from all over Croatia through online classes.
