Course objectives
The aim of the course is for students to recognize, name and define the roles of cinematographers in the history of documentary and feature films. Different periods in the history of film art are studied. The emphasis is on the analysis of significant works by world and Croatian cinematographers. The close connection between the development of cinematography technology and changes in artistic expression and methods of visual storytelling is observed.
