About the studio
The Study of Film, Television and Multimedia Design will educate and train professional staff for work and content design in certain segments of creative industries (film, television, multimedia platforms, computer games, advertising...), which are based on creative audiovisual, multimedia and transmedia practices.
This educational profile combines practical design knowledge and skills in film, television, dramaturgy, production and multimedia with knowledge of applied film, media and design content, and combines them with concrete insights from marketing, finance and intellectual property relevant to the context of creative industries.

Students who complete this study program will be able to:
- designing diverse media content and creative expression in the sphere of audiovisual and multimedia activities,
- self-employment and performing a whole range of jobs (self-employed and auxiliary) in creative industries.
Some of the jobs we prepare you for
- critically evaluate media content and participate in media projects in a media literate manner
- identify and explain basic communication and media concepts and the socio-historical context of their emergence and development
- identify and clarify new transmedia practices
- apply transmedia practices in designing AV content in creative industries
- choose the appropriate application of new media concepts and tools in the design of AV and multimedia content
- identify and apply basic concepts of the film and television profession
- apply basic knowledge and skills in film and TV content production
- select and use basic procedures for the protection, archiving and restoration of AV materials
- interpret basic terms and concepts of multimedia design
- select and use basic multimedia design tools and skills in a creative way
- demonstrate knowledge of the fundamental terms, concepts and context of the creative industries
- identify and apply specific forms and possibilities of financing AV and/or media projects in the creative industries
- demonstrate knowledge of specific forms and possibilities of financing AV and/or media projects and their application in creative industries
- demonstrate knowledge and apply fundamental concepts of copyright, intellectual property protection and media regulation in the context of the creative industries
- apply basic marketing strategies in creative industries
Study information
Full-time study
Classes take place over 15 weeks per semester.
The daily commitment is 4-6 hours of concentrated teaching.

Points are awarded for:
- average of the first three grades of high school
- motivational talk and
- general abilities test:

Applications are currently being accepted for undergraduate studies starting in March 2026 and October 2026.

Professional part of the admission procedure
In order to enroll in the study of Film, television and multimedia design , in addition to the mentioned points, it is mandatory to attend the professional part of the Admission procedure , to which candidates for this study will be invited.
The professional part for this study consists of:
1. viewing and analysis of an audiovisual work
2. writing an essay on a given topic based on an audiovisual work
3. essay presentations to the expert committee

- To the success achieved within the admission procedure
* For this study, the points obtained during the admission procedure determine the tuition group, and the right to enroll is achieved by passing the professional part of the admission procedure.

Details about the admission process
Tuition includes
- Administering enrollment and studying at VERN
- Teaching according to the curriculum
- Group and/or individual mentoring
- Two exams for each course
- Administration and support during the organization and execution of professional practice
- Use of teaching and presentation equipment – computers, videos, projectors, etc.
- Use of the library and the faculty multi-media center for study purposes
- Using the VERN'a information system for study purposes
- Teaching materials produced by VERN: written summaries and notes from lectures and workshops, scripts, etc.
- Organized use of certain sports facilities in rented times, visits to theater performances and concerts according to the CARPE DIEM program
- Defense of the Final/Diploma Thesis
- Graduation ceremony – making the diploma, using it, commemorative caps, etc.
