About the studio
Filmsko, televizijsko i multimedijsko oblikovanje je stručni prijediplomski studij na Sveučilištu VERN’ u Zagrebu koji traje 6 semestara (180 ECTS) i vodi do stručnog naziva bacc. art. (stručni prvostupnik umjetnosti). Studij je akreditiran od strane Agencije za znanost i visoko obrazovanje (AZVO) i razvrstan u 6. razinu Europskog kvalifikacijskog okvira. Studij ima obavezan stručni dio prijemnog postupka ( analizu audiovizualnog djela, esej i prezentaciju portfolia), što znači da su studenti odabrani po kreativnoj sposobnosti i motivaciji, a ne isključivo po prosjeku ocjena.

Od ideje do filma, televizije i multimedije
Imaš ideju za film, televizijsku emisiju ili multimedijski projekt? Na studiju Filmskog, televizijskog i multimedijskog oblikovanja naučit ćeš kako je pretvoriti u gotov audiovizualni sadržaj – od razvoja ideje i pripreme snimanja do režije, rada s kamerom, montaže, zvuka i postprodukcije.
Kroz praktičan rad na filmskim, televizijskim i multimedijskim projektima razvijat ćeš vlastiti kreativni izraz, upoznati različite uloge u produkciji i naučiti surađivati s filmskom ekipom. Stečena znanja moći ćeš primijeniti u stvaranju filmova, televizijskih sadržaja, animacije i sadržaja za digitalne platforme.
Uz kreativne i produkcijske vještine, upoznat ćeš i poslovnu stranu kreativnih industrija – kako se projekti organiziraju, financiraju i plasiraju na tržište te kako se štite autorska prava i intelektualno vlasništvo.
Ishodi učenja studijskog programa:
- Demonstrirati poznavanje temeljnih pojmova, koncepata i konteksta kreativnih industrija.
- Identificirati i objasniti temeljne komunikološke i medijske koncepte te društveno-povijesni kontekst njihova nastanka i razvoja.
- Kritički vrednovati medijske sadržaje i medijski pismeno sudjelovati u medijskim projektima.
- Demonstrirati poznavanje temeljnih pojmova teorije filma te filmske i televizijske struke.
- Demonstrirati usvojenost osnovnih stručnih vještina filmske i televizijske struke.
- Primijeniti temeljna stručna znanja i vještine u proizvodnji filmskih i TV sadržaja.
- Prepoznati, objasniti i primijeniti nove transmedijske prakse u oblikovanju AV i multimedijskih sadržaja u kreativnim industrijama.
- Demonstrirati poznavanje dinamike kolaborativnog timskog rada na raznovrsnim projektima u kreativnim industrijama.
- Interpretirati temeljne pojmove i koncepte multimedijskog oblikovanja.
- Primijeniti temeljne multimedijske oblikovne alate i vještine u medijskim projektima.
- Demonstrirati razumijevanje osnovnih koncepata dizajna i dizajnerske uloge u oblikovanju medijskih sadržaja.
- Odabrati i koristiti temeljne postupke za zaštitu, arhiviranje i restauraciju AV materijala.
- Demonstrirati poznavanje specifičnih oblika i mogućnosti financiranja medijskih projekata i njihove primjene u kreativnim industrijama.
- Demonstrirati poznavanje osnovnih pojmova autorskog prava, zaštite intelektualnog vlasništva i medijske regulative u kontekstu kreativnih industrija.
- Primijeniti osnovne marketinške strategije u kreativnim industrijama.
Studij te priprema za rad u filmskoj, televizijskoj i multimedijskoj produkciji, od razvoja ideje i snimanja do montaže, oblikovanja zvuka i postprodukcije.

- Filmski ili televizijski redatelj (Film / TV Director)
- Snimatelj ili direktor fotografije (Camera Operator / Cinematographer)
- Filmski i video montažer (Film & Video Editor)

Full-time study
Classes take place over 15 weeks per semester.
The daily commitment is 4-6 hours of concentrated teaching.

Professional part of the admission procedure
In order to enroll in the study of Film, television and multimedia design , in addition to the mentioned points, it is mandatory to attend the professional part of the Admission procedure , to which candidates for this study will be invited.
The professional part for this study consists of:
1. viewing and analysis of an audiovisual work
2. writing an essay on a given topic based on an audiovisual work
3. essay presentations to the expert committee

Details about the admission process
Tuition includes
- Administering enrollment and studying at VERN
- Teaching according to the curriculum
- Group and/or individual mentoring
- Two exams for each course
- Administration and support during the organization and execution of professional practice
- Use of teaching and presentation equipment – computers, videos, projectors, etc.
- Use of the library and the faculty multi-media center for study purposes
- Using the VERN'a information system for study purposes
- Teaching materials produced by VERN: written summaries and notes from lectures and workshops, scripts, etc.
- Organized use of certain sports facilities in rented times, visits to theater performances and concerts according to the CARPE DIEM program
- Defense of the Final/Diploma Thesis
- Graduation ceremony – making the diploma, using it, commemorative caps, etc.
