Course objectives
To provide students with a comprehensive insight into the technology of film materials, and to introduce them to aspects of the permanent preservation of national and foreign audiovisual heritage, regardless of the carrier/media on which it is stored. Special emphasis is placed on the digitization of AV materials, as a method of improving the accessibility of AV materials.
